Expanded PTFE Sheet
KAXITE's Expanded PTFE Sheet is a high performance sheet gasket material made of multi-directionally expanded virgin PTFE. It is a soft, form-in-place gasket material that conforms to almost any sealing surface. It is capable of withstanding a wide range of pressure, temperature and chemical environments. Due to its highly fibrillated microstructure, it has excellent creep resistance compared with other PTFE products.
The material is commonly converted into gaskets and is a popular option with delicate, worn and damaged flanges as it has a low bolt load requirement. It can also withstand compressive loads of over 40,000 psi without losing any sealing capability.

Temperature: -240°C to +270 °C (briefly up to +315°C).
Very soft, extremely compressible and has excellent resistance to many chemicals.
It is also unaffected by ozone, UV and corona and does not become brittle with age.
